Exhaustion and overwhelm aren't signs that youâre failing, they're signs that your capacity has been stretched for too long...
Â
Many Autistic, ADHD and otherwise neurodivergent parents have spent years adapting, masking, and pushing through.
You might recognise:
- Starting the day feeling like you're already running on empty.
- Everyday family tasks taking more effort than expected.
- Holding everyone else's needs, while you're own capacity quietly drains.
- Trying so hard to stay on top of it all, yet feeling like things aren't getting any easier.
As an Occupational therapist, I've noticed that without something affirming and practical to hold their awareness, parents can get stuck:
⢠Carrying everything
⢠Compensating for misaligned systems
⢠Trying to âcope betterâ instead of reducing the load
Â
If youâre thinking âI know something needs to change and I donât know where to beginâ this toolkit meets you there.
What if you could:
- Understand how your capacity drains and what supports it
- Move beyond awareness and find daily moments of relief
- Try gentle adjustments that reduce load without adding effort
The right approach can make all the difference.Â
